1.  Due to limited field space, enrollment is limited to boys permanently residing in the following zip codes: 77005, 77019, 77025, 77027, 77030, 77096, 77098, 77401.  There is NO ZIP CODE RESTRICTION for the Senior Division or Cheer.

 

**PLEASE NOTE: THE ZIP CODE RESTRICTION WILL BE WAIVED FOR THE SENIOR DIVISION ONLY (GRADES 7 & 8).

 

2. The registration fee for players is $300.

3. The registration fee for cheerleaders is $225.

4. Registration fee includes practice and game jerseys, game pants, SFL T-shirts and helmet stickers.

5. Equipment is purchased, owned and maintained by players. The league will sponsor an equipment day where equipment will be available for purchase through Barcelona Sporting Goods.

6. Teams are formed by grade. There are four divisions: Freshmen grades 1 & 2; Sophomore grades 3 & 4; Juniors grades 5 & 6; Seniors grade 7 & 8.

7. No new player may register for the Senior Division who was born before 9/1/1996.

8. All divisions play full pads, full contact, tackle football.

9. Freshmen play 6 man football. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors play 11 man football.

10. Most games are played on Saturdays.

11.Head Coaches are recruited by the Division Directors.  Assistant Coaches are selected after the draft.

12. In 2011, players in all divisions who will also be playing football for their school or any other sport for another league or their school MUST attend and participate in the entirety of at least one of their SFL team's practices during the week preceding a game. If this requirement is not met the child will not be able to participate in that week's game.
